Interest picks up for Virginia ATH

Recruiting is picking up for Petersburg, Va. athlete Kevin Green. The 6-foot-3, 195-pounder is getting looks from a variety of schools across the mid-Atlantic. Does anyone lead?
"Many schools have come by and talked to my coach, such as Temple, Maryland, North Carolina and Virginia Tech," he said. "But, Virginia and West Virginia are showing the most interest."

Green maintains one of those schools sticks out most at this time.
"I like Virginia," he said. "I just like the way they play. My father went there and I just want to go there. I think he played from 1986 to 1989."
Green confirmed he plans to take visits in the near future to Virginia, West Virginia and Maryland.
The versatile prospect broke a school record for passing yards as a junior throwing for 3,765-yards while adding 1,000-yards rushing and 39 total touchdowns. He earned first team all-district and all-metro both ways.
Green is also a talented basketball player that averages nine points and nine rebounds a game for undefeated Petersburg. He's getting college interest for basketball as well so far from VCU.
