Interest picks up for TE Frazier

Colleges are taking a look at 6-foot-4, 220-pound tight end Chris Frazier. The Indian Head (Md.) Lackey prospect is hearing from the ACC, Big East and others schools.
"I've been getting a lot of letters from Virginia Tech, Miami (Ohio), Louisville and a few others," he said. "I'm going up to Miami (Ohio) on the 20th for a junior day. This will be my first visit."

Is there a favorite school for Frazier?
"My favorite school is Ohio State," he said. "I like Virginia Tech and Georgia Tech a lot too. Those programs are nationally some of the best in college and send a lot of players to the pros. They also have great academics."
Frazier went on to discuss what he wants in a school.
"I just want to become the best football player I can be," he stated. "I want a place that'll get me to my full potential and somewhere I can learn a lot."
Last season Frazier posted 10 receptions for 200-yards on offense along with 95 tackles, seven sacks and one interception on defense.
"I moved to Maryland in 10th grade from Virginia," he said. "I felt like over the past year I got a lot faster and my reads were better. I want to work on my speed, trying to get my 40 down I want to get a little stronger too and better with my hands."
