Interest picking up for PA LB

Junior linebacker Brian McNally of Girard, Pa. is a new name emerging out of the Western part of Pennsylvania. Several schools are showing increased interest and McNally is in the process of piecing together his summer camp schedule.
"Recruiting has started to pick up," said McNally, who is 6-foot-1 and 194 pounds. "I am getting letters every day from various schools. I have been keeping in touch with coaches through e-mail too."

Currently showing the most interest are Pittsburgh, Boston College, Buffalo, Kent State and Bucknell. As more interest comes in, McNally is beginning to focus his attention on the summer.
"I am waiting to see which ones I get invited to, but last year I attended camps at Pittsburgh and Kent State," said McNally. "Those were really nice and I could be going to those again."
Lining up at linebacker and tight end during his junior season, McNally actually did most of his damage on the offensive side of the ball with 47 receptions for 645 yards and three touchdowns. Defensively he finished with two forced fumbles and an interception.
"I was productive on both sides of the ball," he said. "I was one of those guys who the others could rely on. I was the only junior voted as a captain."
Besides his summer camps, and attending the Rivals Camp Series presented by Under Armour in Pittsburgh on April 28th, McNally will also work to improve his game.
"I want to get faster and gain more weight this off-season," said McNally. "I want to improve my game every day so I can have a big senior year. I also hope to pick up some offers soon."
