Interest picking up for 2015 OT Wilds

Recruiting is growing for 2015 offensive tackle Bryce Wilds out of Freeport (Texas) Brazosport. The 6-foot-7, 295-pounder is getting looks from numerous schools in the region.
"I've talked to a lot of schools including Oklahoma, Texas Tech, Texas, Louisiana Tech, Baylor, Texas A&M and Arkansas," he said. "They aren't saying too much, but they are all interested. I'm getting a lot of invites for games."

Wilds has gone to one game so far.
"I went to Oklahoma for the TCU game," he said. "That game was crazy. They have crazy fans and their stadium is enclosed. I just liked it.
"I talked to their offensive line coach for a little while. They just showed interest."
Wilds claims no outright favorites, but noted what he wants.
"I kind of want to stay in Texas," he said. "I just like the weather in Texas and I like the state.
"I'm looking for a good business program and a decent football program. I can say I'm fan of Texas A&M and Alabama, but I'm looking around."
On the year, Wilds had a solid season.
"I had a good season," he said. "This was my first year on varsity and last year was my first ever playing football.
"My pass blocking and down blocking are probably my best abilities. I'm kind of tall, but pretty quick."
