Interest is rising for MDs Stup

Colleges are starting to take an interest in Frederick (Md.) Tuscarora offensive guard Brady Stup. The 6-foot-4, 270-pounder has taken a couple visits to date early in the process.
"A lot of schools seem interested," he said. "Maryland has talked to my coaches, I went to Rutgers and Duke for junior day and I'm getting mail from Boston College, Missouri, Connecticut and I got an email from Bowling Green."

What did Stup think of Duke and Rutgers?
"I went there about two or three weeks ago," he said. "They were nice. I talked to the coaches and they seem good. I liked the campuses and the facilities."
Despite a fair amount of interest, Stup claims no favorites.
"I'm really looking for whoever shows interest in me, it's kind of seeing who wants me," he said. "I'm going to go based on that and where I can go and play. I'm really looking for a school with a good football program."
This past season Stup and Tuscarora went 4-6 on the year.
"It was kind of a rebuilding year, we were a young team," he said. "I feel like I improved a lot from my sophomore season. I gained size and strength and improved my footwork."
Stup earned first team all-area and first team all-conference honors.
In addition, Stup is a wrestler ranked No. 3 in the county.
