Interest is picking up for PA junior QB

Exton (Pa.) Downingtown East quarterback Kyle Lauletta is picking up interest. The 6-foot-3, 200-pound gunslinger is just starting to get more looks after a strong junior season.
"I'm getting just letters right now," he said. "Mostly I've gotten letters from NC State towards the end of the season and Syracuse. Those are the main two."

Lauletta hasn't visited any schools to date.
Does he like any colleges?
"I'm not sure yet, I don't have any favorites," he said. "I'll get a bit more interest from colleges and visit some campuses. We'll see at the end of the offseason."
Lauletta helped Downingtown East to an 8-2 record before falling in the second round of the playoffs.
"I think I did well," he said. "I just missed 2,000-yards passing and had 20 total touchdowns, four were rushing. I also had 380-yards rushing and just seven interceptions."
The quarterback touched on what sticks out about his game.
"It's hard to say, I feel like athletically I can extend the play when something isn't there," he said. "Even though I'm not the fastest, I've got good agility and quickness. I can find a receiver downfield too."
In the offseason, Lauletta has a big goal of bulking up.
"The whole season I was focused on getting bigger and stronger," he said. "By next season I want to be a solid 210 or 215-pounds. I also want to improve on reading defenses more and my decisions and timing."
A talented lacrosse player as well, Lauletta has received interest there from the likes of North Carolina, Bucknell, Villanova and Lehigh. But, he added that his first goal is to play football in college.
