Interest is picking up for 2008 OG Sales

2008 offensive guard Quinton Sales out of Fort Washington (Md.) Friendly doesn't have any offers. The 6-foot-3, 280-pounder is getting some early looks from a few teams in the ACC, Big Ten and Big East.

"Right now Boston College and Connecticut are sending two to three letters a day," he said. "I like that those schools are showing a lot of interest in me. It's nice to see that, I don't know if they've been in touch with my coach much though. I've also have heard that Purdue, Akron and Temple are looking a lot too."

Currently Sales is focused on the season.

"I've got about five sacks this year on defense," he said. "I'm continuing to play well on offense and I'm just trying to improve and get better.

"I'm focused on helping my team to a state championship and working hard for all-state and all-metro honors. I think if I can obtain that, recruiting will really pick up for me after the season."
