Interest is developing for QB Kinnaird

Taylorsville (N.C.) Alexander Central quarterback Kyle Kinnaird is receiving serious interest. The 6-foot-0, 212-pounder is getting looks from a handful of colleges to date.
"East Carolina keeps sending me a lot of stuff, I keep getting letters from Cincinnati, some from Stanford and NC State too," he stated. "They're all just telling me about how I can visit."

Kinnaird took one unofficial this spring to East Carolina.
"I went to one of their spring practices," he said. "I got to walk around and see the facilities. It was nice. I liked it. I watched the offense against the defense and it is just like ours."
Kinnaird confirmed he plans to take another visit soon to NC State.
With colleges coming in, does Kinnaird want anything in a school?
"I want to be a teacher, so that's what I want to study," he said. "I actually grew up in Florida and moved to North Carolina in 6th grade. I really like it down there and it'd be fun to go back."
The quarterback is coming off an impressive junior season in which he earned all-conference honors after posting 2,100 total yards of offense and leading his team to an 11-2 record.
"I was the first quarterback in school history to go for 1,000 yards rushing and passing," he said. "I think I play bigger than I am, but I still want to get faster, and quicker at reading defenses."
