Interest increasing for Georgia RB

Stone Mountain (Ga.) Stephenson is one of the most popular stops in the South for recruiters this may as the school boasts five players with Division I scholarship offers. One of the first to earn an offer was running back Andre Anderson.
"I got a written offer from Georgia Tech real early on," Anderson said. "Ball State came by the school last week and told me that they were going to offer me a scholarship too. Florida State, Miami-Ohio, Vanderbilt, Tennessee and Michigan have also come by."

The 5-foot-11, 190-pound Anderson runs the 40-yard dash in 4.53 seconds and has a 245-pound bench press. He was named as the most valuable back on his team as a junior.
"Georgia Tech and Central Michigan have called me already this month," Anderson said. "My top schools would pretty much be the same as it has been, Georgia Tech, Michigan, Tennessee, Georgia, Louisville and now you can throw Ball State in there too."
As a junior Anderson carried the ball 158 times for 1,042 yards and seven touchdowns. He averaged 6.6 yards per carry.
"I will probably wait a while to make any kind of decision," Anderson said. "I could decide before the season starts if I have a clear leader and I know that I want to go to that place without a doubt, but I will probably just end up waiting a while."
Though he is unsure specifically of which ones, Anderson says he will attend some camps this summer.
"I was planning on going to the NIKE camp at Georgia, but that is before I knew I was going to have a state track meet this weekend," Anderson said. "I am going to camp at Georgia Tech for sure and probably either Miami or Louisville."
