Interest grows in Kansas lineman

Scott City (Kan.) Scott Community offensive lineman Guy Miller has seen interest in his talents pick up in recent weeks.
"Things are going better than they were," the 6-foot-3, 267-pound Miller said. "I have had some calls from colleges. Wyoming, Colorado State, Kansas and Kansas State have all called."

Miller participated in the NIKE camp in Manhattan in early May with 20 different colleges, including those who have called, represented.
"I think most of them are recruiting me for offensive line," he said. "K-State said wherever I could fit in, either offensive or defensive line. They weren't singling me down to just one spot, right now. I am not favoring either way. It doesn't matter to me where I play, just so I get the chance."
Miller is still awaiting his first scholarship offer, and is beginning to make his camp rounds for the summer.
"I am going to the KU, K-State, Colorado State camps. KU's one day camp on Saturday in Lawrence. I'm on my way to that one. I'll go to K-State's one-day camp on June 10 in Wichita and I'll go to Colorado State's camp in Fort Collins on June 15."
No one school has emerged as the favorite at this point.
"I really wouldn't say that one school was my favorite right now," he said. "I am keeping my options open."
