Interest grows for Creamer

Coming off a tough season, Neiko Creamer out of Bear (Del.) Red Lion Christian Academy is working hard to improve for next year.
"I really want to improve my speed and acceleration to become the BCS caliber player I know I can be," he said. "Our season turned out pretty well even though we finished 5-5. It was a pretty good feeling because we have one of the toughest schedules in the nation. We are still kind of a young team, we only had two seniors, but our 2013 class is pretty good."

Already holding one offer from Temple, Creamer is getting a lot of attention from schools like Tennessee, Rutgers, Miami, Connecticut, Maryland, Oregon, and Illinois.
"I like Tennessee, Miami and Rutgers," said Creamer. "Tennessee because that's where my father played, Andre Creamer, cornerback on the 1986 Sugar Bowl team," he said. "I've talked with the Miami coach a few times and he is in contact with my coach a lot. I'm very familiar with Rutgers because they're local and we are always around them."
Knowing it is still early in the recruiting process, Creamer would like to see some interest from other areas of the country.
"I'd like to get some attention from North Carolina because that's where I grew up. Also, I'd like to hear from some SEC powers or some California schools like USC or Cal."
