Interest growing for OL Parfitt

Delray Beach (Fla.) American Heritage offensive tackle Kelly Parfitt is gaining interest. The 6-foot-6, 285-pounder is getting looks from across the country.
"I haven't gotten any offers yet, I'm getting a lot of mail," he said. "South Florida is sending a lot, Illinois, Boston College, Wisconsin and Penn State."

Parfitt has visited South Florida.
"I've taken a junior day there, I really liked it," he said. "I liked it a lot. They have a great campus, I liked their stadium."
As interest begins to pick up, what does Parfitt want in a school?
"I'm not really sure," he said. "I don't want to be somewhere ou in the middle of nowhere. I guess I'd like to be close to my family, but I want to get away at the same time. I'm also looking to study business."
Parfitt played offensive tackle his first two seasons before a move to guard this past year.
"I actually did really well," he said. "Our team went to the state championship, but lost in the finals. It was a great experience.
"I want to improve this offseason, I'm working hard in the weight room to get stronger and faster. I want to work on my footwork a bit."
