Interest continues for CB Andreassi

Colleges are beginning to take notice of Long Island (N.Y.) St. Anthony's cornerback J.B. Andreassi. The 5-foot-10, 185-pounder is getting a wide variety of interest, but are there any leaders?
"Boston College, Purdue, Dartmouth, Villanova, Georgetown and more are in touch," he said. "I would have to say that Villanova, Boston College, Georgetown and Dartmouth are standing out the most to me because of the academics. If I go to those schools, I could go anywhere and have good football and academics."

Obviously academics are big for Andreassi. What else is he looking for in a college?
"I would say I really want a nice atmosphere and a good location too," he said. "I'd like to stay in the Northeast or mid-Atlantic. Of course as I said before, I want good academics and football as well."
Later this spring, the Empire State cornerback plans to attend the Nike Combine in New York. He also is looking at taking summer camps to Syracuse and Dartmouth.
Andreassi registered 70 tackles and five interceptions as a junior last season.
