Interest coming for Texas WR

Tyler (Texas) Lee wide receiver Jacob Amie is pushing through his basketball season deep into the playoffs while trying to keep his eye on recruiting.
The 6-foot-3, 219-pounder is getting steady mail, but no offers have come yet. With the amount of schools showing interest, Amie thinks that his offer situation will change soon.

"Things are going really well right now," Amie said. "Texas Tech, Oklahoma State, and Texas A&M have been sending me a lot lately. I'm just kind of waiting it out to see what happens here."
Amie says he's not sure which junior days he will go to but he's been invited to several that include Texas A&M, Texas Tech, Oklahoma State, Iowa, and Kansas State.
"I've just been busy with basketball right now," Amie said about not making those events. "I'm trying to get out to some camps and everything, but basketball has taken up my time."
It's no surprise that his second sport is keeping him quite occupied. Lee is pushing into the third round of the playoffs now.
"I think we play Richardson Berkner coming up," Amie said. "We're doing really well though. We've come together as a team throughout this whole season."
Amie says he's open with no favorite schools at this time.
