Inkster twins going to work this month

Bolstered by the receipt of their first scholarship offers this past week, Inkster, Mich., twin talents Daniel Lindsey and Nathan Lindsey are ready to embark on a summer camp tour in June that involves eight different schools.
"This coming Saturday, me and my brother both are going down to the NIKE Camp in Champaign, Illinois," Daniel Lindsey reported. "Then, the very next day we're going to Toledo's camp. On the 11th we're going to Indiana and on the 12th we're going to Ball State. June 16 we're going to the University of Michigan camp, 21st Minnesota, 22nd Wisconsin and the 24th we're going to Michigan State."

Daniel, a 5-11, 191-pound prospect, and Nathan, 6-0, 190 pounds, both play running back and defensive back for Inkster High. Daniel plans to work out at both positions when he camps at these schools.
"At these camps I really want to show my footwork on defense and my athletic ability at the corner spot," Lindsey said. "At running back, I want to show my explosiveness and hands out of the backfield. I want to run a solid, low 4.5 40, maybe knock on that 4.4 door."
The brothers are more motivated to showcase their talents for college coaches because each received their first scholarship offer last week.
"I had gotten an offer from Ball State – me and my brother both received it on Wednesday. It was a verbal offer and the offer will be official June 12 at their camp," Daniel Lindsey said. "It was a great feeling and me and my brother both were smiling. My parents were very happy and my little sister was happy for me."
Splitting time in the backfield this past fall for Inkster, Daniel Lindsey accumulated 1,023 all-purpose yards and 11 total touchdowns. He also recorded 42 tackles on defense. Nathan Lindsey played in just six games, but managed to accumulate 683 all-purpose yards offensively and record 47 tackles and seven interceptions on defense. Early indication from college coaches is that the brothers will be evaluated on both sides of the ball.
"Ball State had offered us more as an athlete, but I think they really want us to come play DB for them," Daniel Lindsey said. "Some schools, like Minnesota, Wisconsin and a couple other MAC schools, want me to come to play running back for them.
"Me and my brother both feel we are best at running back, but we can get the job done on defense too, so it really doesn't matter."
