Injury doesnt plan to stop OL

Kurt Seifried, one of the top players in the state of Oklahoma, has worked all summer long to get ready for his senior season. But it looks like his season is about to be put on hold.
That's because Seifried, who is 6-foot-4 and 290 pounds, broke his foot yesterday and is now out four to six weeks.

"I'm probably going to miss the last time that we ever play Union," Seifried said. "I'm really disappointed.
"I planted my foot weird and put all my weight on one of the bones in my foot, and I heard it pop. It hurts to walk on it, but I'm confident that I'll come back."
With a solid offer from Oklahoma State, is Seifried tempted at all to take the scholarship now that he's going to miss part of the season.
Yes and no.
"I'm confident that I'm going to be back for the playoffs," he said. "I think that I can still go out there and prove myself, but I also know that Oklahoma State is going to stand by me."
Other teams that are still interested in the 6-foot-4, 290-pound are Colorado (camp), Arkansas, SMU, Kansas State and Kansas.
"This is only going to make me stronger," he said.
