Four-star Hawthorne (Fla.) quarterback/athlete Cornelius Ingram has announced his decision to attend Florida in a signing day ceremony at his school.
He picked the Gators over Florida State, South Florida and a host of others, citing his status as a Florida fan growing up and a desire to play close to home.
Ingram (6-5, 215, 4.6) is a member of the Rivals100 Team and the No. 3 rated athlete in the nation.
As a senior, he threw for 1,400 yards and 15 touchdowns while rushing for 500 yards and 10 scores.
Ingram is also averaging close to 26 points and 10 rebounds on the hardwood, which he also plans to play for the Gators.
