Indiana, Wyoming host Kansas FB

Hays, Kansas, fullback Brett Alstatt has taken two official visits already and he is focusing on which schools might get his final three trips.
“Brett has visited Indiana (Nov. 14) and Wyoming (Nov. 21),” Hays coach Kent Teeter said. “He was very pleased with how things went at both visits. He was able to see first hand all of the details of a college. I know he is looking forward to some of the other visits.”

The schools in the mix for the final three visits include Bowling Green, Colorado, Kansas State and SMU.
“He has scholarship offers from Indiana and Purdue already,” Teeter said. “Bowling Green, Colorado and SMU have told him they will offer him a scholarship if he comes and visits them. Kansas State and Colorado have really been paying a lot of attention to him lately. SMU just called this week for the first time. Nebraska has called some, and Kansas was a school that called really early on. But, they haven’t called for a long time.”
Alstatt has played several positions for Hays this season, leading to several different options for him in college.
“Brett has played fullback, running back, linebacker and kick returner for us,” Teeter said of the 6-foot-4, 220-pound Alstatt. “Indiana is talking about linebacker. Wyoming has said they want him as a tight end and Colorado and Kansas State have told us he will be a defensive end in their eyes.”
On the season, Alstatt rushed for 1,161 yards on 187 carried in nine games.
