Indiana star has four scholarship offers

There is no question Columbus (Indiana) East star athlete Steve Brown will play football at the next level. What remains to be seen is what position Brown plays and who he plays for. The 6-foot-1 and 200 pounder is one of the top prospects in the Hoosier state.
Brown played running back, wide receiver, cornerback, and returned kicks during his junior season. He has been a varsity starter since his freshman year when he played cornerback.

Brown rushed for close to 700 yards, caught 25 passes for over 500 yards, scored 20 times, and intercepted three passes during his junior season. Brown has 15 career interceptions going into his senior season.
"I think I'll play either running back or safety in college," Brown said.
"Coach Hagen from Purdue called (Sunday). It went good.
"Purdue, Indiana, Illinois, Notre Dame, Ohio State, Michigan, Nebraska, Michigan State, those are the ones that have sent the most mail. And Louisville. I'm interested in all of them.
"I've been to Purdue, Illinois, Notre Dame, and Indiana. Purdue, Indiana, Illinois, and Nebraska have offered me a scholarship.
"I don't have a favorite. I don't have a time frame to pick a college."
