Indiana FB adds offer

Carmel, Ind., fullback Kurt Freytag is a 6-foot-2, 230-pound bulldozer of a back that rushed for 949 yards and 11 touchdowns as a junior. He's parlayed that season to scholarship offers and heavy interest.
"Eastern Michigan offered me on Monday," Freytag, who also has an offer from Ball State, said. "I haven't talked to them at all. My coach told me they came to visit my school, but I was unable to talk to them. I want to visit their school sometime this summer.

"I have seen Ball State for spring practice. I was very pleased with what I seen. The coaching staff is amazing. Right now I would say Ball State is my front runner because they offered me first, and I have talked to all their coaches. The next time I will see Ball state is for their camp."
Speaking of camps, Freytag plans to be busy this summer.
"I am still going to Iowa's camp," he said. "Plus, I'll be at Ball State's, Central Michigan, Indiana's and Purdue's camps this summer."
Purdue has shown some interest, too.
"I went to the spring game at Purdue," he said. "It was pretty intense, one of my old teammates intercepted a ball that was pretty cool. I got to talk to some of the coaches and I really liked that."
