Indiana ATH heading to MAC

Indianapolis (Ind.) Ben Davis two-star athlete LaVarus Williams is ranked as one of the top 15 players in Indiana. And the 6-foot, 185-pounder has decided to go ahead and end the recruiting process.
"I actually committed to Central Michigan," Williams, the No. 13 player in Indiana, said. "I committed a couple weeks ago. When I went to visit I just really liked it there. My family likes it there."

"I saw the campus and I just love the environment around there. My favorite thing is probably the chance of playing early there. They're supposed to have an open corner spot so I like my chances."
Williams, who projects on either side of the ball, said he hopes to get a shot at playing corner for Central.
"I might play a little at receiver, but mainly corner," he said. "I'd rather play corner. I'm going to take an official to Central Michigan sometime in January. I don't plan on visiting anywhere else."
Williams saw his senior season end sooner than he expected.
"We got beat two weeks ago to get knocked out of the playoffs," he said. "I had two picks this season, and I'm not sure how many tackles. I also had 333 punt return yards."
