In-state WR takes in LSU-UGA game

Three-star Hahnville (La.) wide receiver Darius Reynaud was in the stands Saturday to watch one of his co-leaders play.
"I went to the LSU-Georgia game," he said. "I had a great time. I was really surprised by how the fans were. The atmosphere was really crazy. It would be fun to play in a place like that."

Reynaud (5-10, 185, 4.4) has that opportunity. He's been offered a scholarship by LSU, as well as his co-leader, Michigan State.
"Those are my top two," he said. "They're about even right now. I like everything about LSU, being close to home and in the SEC, and the way they use a lot of players in their rotation. But I like Michigan State, too. Their coaches are real nice, and they seem like I'm real important to them. They say I've got a chance to play early there."
He also has offers from Nebraska, Colorado, Oregon State and Ole Miss. They comprise his top six as he tries to decide where his other three official visits will come.
As a junior, Reynaud caught 17 passes for 494 yards and 16 touchdowns. He's shifted to running back this season, and has responded with 490 yards and 10 touchdowns on 40 carries in helpign lead Hahnville to a 3-0 start.
Academically, he maintains a 2.5 GPA and has scored a 24 on the ACT.
