Jeremy Young returned from an
official visit to one of his co-leaders this past weekend.
"Ole Miss was a very good visit," said Young, a member
of the Rivals.com
Mississippi Top 30 team and the
No. 33 pro-style quarterback in the nation. "I liked everything I saw. I like
the college atmosphere there and the town in general. The people are real
supportive of the team.
"I had already met all the coaches and some of the
players, so none of that was really new to me, but I did enjoy getting to sit
down with the position coaches and get a closer look at their offensive system
and how everything works. That was real interesting.
"On the whole, it was just real nice. I think Ole Miss
is bringing in a good recruiting class, too, so their future looks bright."
Young says he won't name a favorite until he completes
all of his visits. He went to Southern Miss on Dec. 13 and still has dates
coming to Mississippi State (1/17) and Jackson State (1/24).
"I'll rate them all once I get done with the trip to
Jackson State," he said.
Young (6-4, 180, 4.6) passed for more than 1,200 yards
and 18 touchdowns and rushed for 460 yards and seven scores as a senior in
leading Provine to an 8-3 record.
