In-state offer is first for Epstein

McKinney (Texas) Bishop Lynch offensive center prospect Evan Epstein is on the board with his first offer.
Epstein spoke with coach Clayton George at North Texas this past week and found out that the in-state school would be sending the first offer. The 6-foot-4, 285-pounder has also been hearing from a variety of other schools.

"It feels amazing," Epstein said about his first offer from UNT. "Now that I know a lot of coaches have film, they're going back to their colleges and having the offensive line coaches look at it."
Florida has shown rising interest in Epstein and the talented prospect will head down to the Gators' camp this summer. Other schools such as Cal, SMU, and UCLA are also on the interest list of Epstein.
Notre Dame, where Epstein's grandfather Frank Epstein played, was at the top of his list, but says he's got another school on top.
"The next visit, other than going to Florida's camp, I'm not sure about," he said. "I'm from California, so I love all the California schools. UCLA has shown a lot of interest and that's my No. 1 school right now. I was born right there and they're a very good school academic-wise as well."
Epstein says he also received his SAT score back with an 1820.
