In-state junior familiar with Pitt

Junior defensive lineman Josh Dininny of Johnstown (Pa.) Richland Senior is enjoying a successful season and is preparing for a state playoff game this Friday. During his junior season he also found the time to take a visit to an in-state program.
"Recruiting is pretty good," said Dininny. "Most of my interest is coming from Rutgers and Pitt so far. So far I've been to Pitt, just on an unofficial visit."

Dininny, 6-foot-4 and 269-pounds, gave a little insight on his visit to Pittsburgh.
"I like their campus and the coaches there," said Dininny, who also mentioned that he attended a summer camp at Pittsburgh earlier this year. "That went pretty well. They helped me a lot with my stances and I favored the defensive coaches. I only did a few drills with the offensive line coach."
Just as he did at the summer camp, Dininny is seeing time on both sides of the line this fall.
"I'm playing defensive end/defensive tackle and offensive tackle," said Dininny. "My footwork has gotten better and just the experience I have. My speed and strength are also improved."
Dininny's skill set gives him the opportunity to possibly play on either side of the line at the next level.
"I would like to be recruited for the defensive line, but I wouldn't mind playing on either side of the ball," said Dininny.
