Class of 2020 wide receiver Jayden Kelley is still waiting on his first offer, but that might be changing soon as several schools have started to reach out following a successful junior season. After accounting for nearly 1,800 yards of total offense while playing mostly running back for his high school team, Kelley knows offers are coming, it's just a matter of which program will be first. Rivals.com caught up with Kelley to talk about his increased recruiting profile as well as his plans for upcoming visits.

In His Words

"Arkansas has been in touch and I had a chance to get up there to see a game this fall. I met Coach Lunney and Coach Morris when I went up there. I went to the Eastern Illinois game and we took a tour of the campus and the facilities. The coaches were very welcoming and genuine nice people. That's my dream offer. They want to see me gain some more weight and get bigger and come camp and show what I can do at wide receiver."

On potential fit in Arkansas offense: "I have a nice skillset and I can do anything you ask me to do. I'm tall, fast, I have good feet and good hands and I think I would bet a good fit in their offense."

Rivals Reaction

It always takes a little while for players in Arkansas to emerge and Kelley is just starting to get on the map, with programs like Michigan State and Air Force recently showing interest as well. Kelley's tape shows an ability to excel both as a running back and a receiver and that type of versatility will likely continue to catch the eye of coaches during the spring.
