Imeokparia looks into visits

The season has come to a close for Blairstown (N.J.) Blair Academy athlete Ed Imeokparia. With the season behind, the 6-foot-0, 188-pounder is looking ahead to college.
"We just wrapped things up and now I can start thinking about taking officials," he said. "The season was pretty good. It was a big turnaround from last year; we won more than double the games from a year ago. We expected to win every game.

"I did well. I'm not sure on my statistics. I got a good amount of rushing yards and played well on defense."
The three-star prospect is beginning to consider visits.
"I am starting to think about them now," he said. "I've been talking to Boston College and I was supposed to visit in the summer sometime. I wasn't able to do it and the coaches are pushing me to come out before the season ends.
"There's the possibility of a couple other schools. I kind of want to take all five of my visits."
Imeokparia maintains he holds the same offers from Boston College, Cincinnati, Michigan State, Minnesota, Purdue, Temple and Wake Forest. He is hearing from a few other colleges as well.
"I'm waiting to see what other schools make a decision," he said. "Tennessee, Miami, Rutgers and Pittsburgh are showing a decent amount of interest."
With no visits yet scheduled, is there a timeframe when the No. 21 prospect in New Jersey will start things?
"I kind fo want to start either next week or in two weeks," he said. "I still want to go somewhere this month. I played every weekend on Saturday, so I haven't been able to take any visits this year."
