Imeokparia enjoys his visit to UNC

Blairstown (N.J.) Blair Academy athlete Ed Imeokparia was one of numerous prospects that made their way to Chapel Hill over the weekend. The 6-foot-0, 188-pounder enjoyed the trip, but isn't ready to commit like some of his fellow visitors.
"It was a good visit," he said. "I got a chance to see what everything was about there and they are heading into an upward direction.

"I got to spend a lot of time with the coaches and I attended the North Carolina-Maryland game. They were No. 1 and that was an upset shocker. It was a good experience anyway. The game was exciting and the crowd was into it.
"After the game, we went around town, hung out with the coaches and then went out with our hosts."
Imeokparia was hosted by Trimane Goddard.
"It was cool hanging out with him," he said. "I also got to hang out with Marvin Austin and Greg Little. They were all trying to get me to come there and be apart of the team."
The three-star prospect spent time with the coaches too.
"It was good, they have a great coaching staff," he said. "I got to sit down with Coach Davis for awhile. He clearly knows what he's talking about and has a lot of experience. He's investing a lot in the future of that program.
"He talked about me. He likes me in the secondary and thinks I'm versatile enough to play on special times. I'm cool with that."
The No. 21 prospect in New Jersey declined to rate the visit.
"It was a great trip," he said. "I know a lot of other players committed, but I knew coming in that I was going to take another visit.
"I plan to take all of my trips and then make a decision. I'm going on one more visit to Florida State or Auburn. It could be this weekend."
