Imeokparia adds an offer, takes visits

Three-star athlete Ed Imeokparia took two official visits in the past couple weeks. In addition, the 6-foot-0, 188-pounder added a new scholarship from the Big East. The Blairstown (N.J.) Blair Academy prospect broke down everything that is going on.
"I was just offered by Louisville yesterday," he said. "I like the school. They have a lot of things in place and there is definitely the opportunity to play early at my position.

"I'm open to new offers. There are three or four other schools that still may get back in touch with me like North Carolina, Tennessee, Pittsburgh, NC State and Miami. I've also gotten calls in the past week from Michigan and Ohio State. They all say an offer could be coming soon. I'm leaving spots open in January to possibly take some visits to these schools."
In the meantime, Imeokparia took officials to Michigan State and Cincinnati recently.
"Both of the visits were great," he said. "Their coaches are committed to the programs and the teams are full of great guys.
"Michigan State was a bit more rural. It's kind of it is own city in the town. It's a pretty big campus. Everything was convenient to Cincinnati's campus. It's all within walking distance. I liked the coaches at both too, Coach D'Antonio and Kelly are great guys. They are big on character and have a lot of character themselves. It shows in the way they carry their programs."
At this time, the No. 74 athlete in the country still claims no leaders. He is however looking at more visits.
"I don't want to close the door on anybody," he said. "I'll take my last three visits in January. I haven't finalized anything for those trips."
