Illinois WR hearing from several Big 12 schools
Champaign (Ill.) Centennial wide receiver Marquis Johnsoncurrently the nation's third rated wide receiver by Rivals100.com. That kind of ranking has led to a list of the nation's top teams to be recruiting him this fall.
"Things have picked up this month already," the 6-foot-3, 190-pounder said. "I've heard from Texas, Michigan, Michigan State, Miami, Illinois, Washington, Colorado, Texas Tech and Texas A&M."

While several Big 12 schools are found on the list, one of those schools currently finds itself in the front runner position on Johnson's list. "Right now I favor Texas. But things can change. I don't want to close my options anywhere right now."
Johnson had 45 catches as a junior for 860 yards and 11 touchdowns.
