Illinois receiver draws third offer

Bolingbrook (Ill.) junior wide receiver prospect Carl Fisher (6-foot-2, 205 pounds) has added his third scholarship offer from the University of Kansas Jayhawks.
"I received my third offer recently from the University of Kansas," Fisher said. "I've just been working hard this off season getting ready for football to start. I can't wait for the summer camps and my team camp to get going."

Fisher, who now has offers from Kansas, Iowa State and Utah, talked about his recent offer from the Jayhawks.
"It's the Big 12 conference, and that's appealing to me to start. I also know that Kansas likes to throw the ball quite a bit, and that they basically were in every game last year. Academically Kansas is also pretty solid, and I'm pretty excited to get an offer from the Jayhawks."
Fisher has also started to get a feeling that a handful of schools could be close to offering him soon.
"According to my coach (John Ivlow) several schools are lined up to stop in school during the May evaluation period. Northwestern is awaiting for my final spring semester grades to come in but they seem like they are very close to offering me. Notre Dame and Iowa have also really picked things up and both schools want to see me in camp this summer. I have a feeling that both schools are also very interested."
Fisher has plenty on his calendar over the next several weeks.
"I'm either going to Illinois or Northwestern this Saturday for a spring game visit. I'm also looking to camp this summer at Northwestern, Minnesota, Iowa and Notre Dame for one-day camps. I'm pretty excited about my 40 time recently and I can't wait to show people in camp what I'm capable of doing."
