Illinois QB Williams has a Pac-10 offer

Chicago (Ill.) Vocational junior dual threat quarterback prospect Isiah Williams (6-foot-1, 210 pounds) has been adding scholarship offers so far during the May evaluation period on almost a daily basis. Yesterday was no different, as Williams was offered his first Pac-10 conference offer this spring from the University of Oregon.
"The coaches from Oregon made an in school visit last Wednesday," Williams said. "They took back some of my junior video. The coaches called me on Wednesday afternoon and said that they loved my highlights and that they were offering me a scholarship. The coaches said that the scholarship paperwork was sent out today (Wednesday)."

Williams talked about his latest offer from the Ducks.
"It's great to draw an offer from Oregon as well as getting recognized by a school in the Pac-10 conference. Oregon has been a winning program over the years, and it's offense is very similar to the offense we run at CVS. Oregon definitely gets my attention, and it's great to get an offer and recognition on a national level."
Williams also talked about his feelings towards traveling away from the Midwest to play college ball.
"I'll basically travel anywhere to play college ball, just as long as I feel comfortable with that school. Travel for me is really not an issue. If a school is a good fit for me and meets what I'm looking for in a college, then I'll travel no matter how far away it is from home."
Isiah Williams now has offers from Oregon, Ohio State, Boston College, Akron, Ball State, Northern Illinois, Illinois, Purdue, Toledo, Eastern Michigan, Iowa, Kansas and Indiana.
