Illinois QB Morse talks recruiting

Hinsdale (Ill.) Central junior quarterback prospect Brett Morse (6-foot-4, 225 pounds) is one of several prospect who was getting some throws in at a recently held quarterback camp Sunday evening. Morse took a few minutes to talk about his latest recruiting news in this latest update.
"I've been getting quite a bit of mail over the last several months," Morse said. "Wisconsin, Boston College, Western Michigan, Northwestern and Northern Illinois. Western Michigan has been sending me hand-written mail along with Boston College and Northwestern."

Morse, who plays baseball this spring for the Red Devils, admits that his spring travels have been very limited.
"I had a chance to go to the Northwestern scrimmage on Saturday because our baseball game was canceled. They (Northwestern) didn't have a spring game because of injuries, but they still went at it and that was a lot of fun to see. I enjoyed my visit to Northwestern on Saturday, and I'm really familiar with the school and I've been there a bunch of times for different events. Northwestern definitely has a lot to offer and I'm interested in them."
Morse is also hoping to get out to a few football camps this summer.
"I really need to check out my baseball schedule this summer, then I'm also going to see how things go recruiting-wise in May before I decide which camps I'll hit this summer. I'll most likely visit a few one-day camps, but I'm just not sure where right now."
Morse is also the type of prospect who could draw recruiting looks at any number of positions. Does Morse have any position preference in college?
"I take great pride in my quarterbacking skills, but I'm really open to any schools at this point. Some people have mentioned that I might get looked at for different positions, and I'm fine with that. I really just want to play at the next level."
