Tongo talked about his junior day visit to Wisconsin.
"It was a good visit to Wisconsin. I had a chance to get to meet several coaches and I just met a lot of people on my visit. I had a chance to talk with Coach Barry Alvarez, and he seems like a really good guy to play for in college. Everyone seemed really friendly at Wisconsin and it also seemed like a good atmosphere there. They have great facilities and a great stadium, and they really seem to take care of it's players really well."
Tongo, who will be a thrower this spring for the Huskies track team, has been receiving mail and recruiting interest from several schools this winter.
"I've been getting steady mail from Wisconsin, Illinois, NIU, Nebraska, Kansas State and Indiana."
Tongo maintains an impressive 3.6 GPA on a 4.0 scale.
