Illinois kicker draws second offer

Chicago (Ill.) St. Rita junior kicker/punter prospect Ryan Donahue (6-foot-3, 180 pounds) has added his second scholarship offer this spring. Donahue has added his second MAC offer, this time from Ball State University.
"Ball State University has offered me a scholarship," Donahue said. "Ball State offered me a scholarship last week, and I know have offers from both Akron and Ball State."
Donahue talked about landing his latest offer from the Cardinals.
"I really don't know a lot about Ball State, but I'm definitely going to check them out and I'm doing some research on them. They have been sending me hand-written letters for awhile now, and they seem very excited about recruiting me."
Donahue has also been drawing plenty of in school visitors and phone class from college coaches.
"I've gotten phone calls so far from Notre Dame, Iowa, Kansas, and a few others I can't remember right off the top of my head. I'd say I've gotten about 7-10 calls. We have had several coaches in school over the last few weeks. Western and Eastern Michigan, Indiana State, Akron, Iowa have been in school. We've been averaging about 2-3 different coaches per day in May."
Donahue is in the process of lining up a very busy summer camp schedule.
"I'm still trying to sort everything out, but I'm definitely going to attend several one-day camps and combines."
