Illinois junior RB talks latest suitors

Gurnee (Ill.) junior running back prospect Mitchell Moore (6-foot-1, 190 pounds) has been busy with his basketball season this winter, yet Moore is also keeping tabs on his football recruiting. Moore talks about his latest suitors as well as his college junior day travel plans.

"We're having a very good season in hoops so far," Moore said. "So far we're 14-2 on the season, and the papers have us ranked in the Top 25. I really enjoy basketball, but I've also been keeping up with the mail I've received from the colleges for football."

Moore, despite his busy winter and early spring schedule, is hoping to get a chance to get out and make the college junior day rounds.

"I've been getting steady mail from several schools recently. I'm looking at trying to check out junior days at Michigan, Iowa, Illinois and Northwestern. I'm looking to see how those can fit into my schedule without interfering with basketball. Hopefully I'll get a chance to see a few schools up close this winter, but my responsibilities to my basketball team comes first at this time of the year."
