Illinois junior OT drawing national looks

Naperville (Ill.) junior offensive tackle prospect Timi Oshinowo (6-foot-7, 280 pounds) is one of several talented offensive tackle prospects from the state of Illinois recruiting Class of 2006. Oshinowo has also been receiving steady mail and college junior day invitations from coast to coast this winter.
"I've been receiving a lot of mail over the last month or so," Oshinowo said. "I'm getting steady mail from Stanford, Illinois, Iowa, Michigan, Duke, Wisconsin, Tennessee, Louisville, Alabama, Georgia, Florida State and North Carolina State."

Oshinowo, who is playing basketball this winter for Neuqua Valley High School, is planning to fit in a few college junior day visits into his busy schedule.
"I'm going to the junior day at the University of Illinois this Saturday. I'm also going to Northwestern for a junior day on the 19th. I'm also going to try and make a junior day at Wisconsin, but it depends on my basketball schedule. We're the number 2 seed in our sectional and hopefully I'll have plenty of basketball left to play this season."
Timi Oshinowo is the younger brother of current Stanford defensive tackle OJ Oshinowo. Could the Cardinal have an inside track for Timi?
"My brother is doing pretty well out at Stanford, and it's something that we've talked about casually. I will definitely look at Stanford, but I'm also going to check out all of my options and I really don't have any favorites at this point."
