Illinois DT ready for busy Saturday

Wheaton (Ill.) junior defensive tackle prospect Chris Arthurs (6-foot-1, 260 pounds) will be making not one but two college junior days on Saturday.
"I'm planning to check out junior days on Saturday at Illinois and Iowa," Arthurs said. "Both schools are having junior days on Saturday, so my Dad and I are going to head to Illinois in the morning, then we'll drive out to Iowa for the afternoon."

Arthurs is excited about both the Illini and the Hawkeyes, so he's excited about fitting in both events.
"Illinois has a new coaching staff, and they have been sending me steady mail so I'm excited to get to know the coaches at Illinois," Arthurs said. "Iowa obviously recruited both Tony (Moeaki) and Dace (Richardson) so I'm also really interested to see what Iowa has to offer. The schedule just worked out that we'll get a chance to see two schools in one day."
Arthurs also will check out two more Big Ten schools the following weekend.
"Next weekend I'm scheduled to go to junior day events at Northwestern and Michigan," Arthurs said. "We'll check out Northwestern on Saturday and then Michigan on Sunday.
"I've been getting steady mail from Illinois, Iowa, Northwestern, Michigan, Notre Dame and Wisconsin so far."
