Recruiters are not concerned with Thomas size.
"I have some offers," Thomas said. "I have four at the moment. Illinois, Purdue, Northern Illinois, and Central Michigan have offered."
The list of schools Thomas is interested in includes most of the ones that have offered.
"I'm looking at Illinois, Purdue, Northern Illinois, Notre Dame, Iowa, Michigan State, Florida, and Wisconsin," Thomas said. "It's open, but those are the top ones."
When asked who his favorite is, Thomas said, "Growing up I was a Florida Gator fan. To get a scholarship offer from them, that would be a dream come true. They've called. Just about all the schools I named have called."
Thomas is ready to attend a number of football camps including the Florida Gator camp.
"I'm going to Iowa's camp (today)," Thomas said. "I plan to go to Wisconsin's camp June 17.
"I plan on going to one at Florida, but I'm not sure when that is. I'll go to Illinois' camp and hopefully Purdue."
Thomas has visited Illinois and Iowa.
"I went to a combine at Iowa and a couple basketball games at Illinois," he said.
