Illinois commitment to take all five officials

Chicago (Ill.) Vocational quarterback Isiah Williams, who committed to Illinois on May 28, remains committed to the Fighting Illini. However Williams plans to take all five of his official visits.
"A bunch of schools are still recruiting me," Williams said. "Such as Miami, Ohio State, Penn State, Purdue, basically the whole Big Ten and half the Pac-10.

"I'm going to take all five official visits. Right now the dates aren't set, but I'll visit Tennessee, Ohio State, Penn State, Illinois, and North Carolina. I'm in the process of setting them up. I have scholarship offers from all five."
When asked why he plans to take all five official visits, Williams said, "To make sure. I don't want to look back and say I didn't take advantage of all five visits."
Does Williams have a second choice behind the Fighting Illini at this point?
"Ohio State is second," he said. "The tradition of football there is great. They are very serious about winning. I like everything about their football and academics.
The 6-foot-2 and 207-pound Williams, a four star player, is the No. 2 prospect in the state of Illinois in the Rivals.com player rankings. Williams completed 62 percent of his passes for 1,042 yards and 17 touchdowns during his junior season. Williams also rushed for 982 yards and 17 touchdowns.
