Ilini may land Ohio OL this weekend
Canton (Ohio) Glen Oak offensive lineman Ryan Palmer made an official visit to Kentucky in September. He makes an official visit to Illinois this weekend, and it could be his last trip.
"I went to Kentucky a few weeks ago," Palmer said. "I'm going to Illinois Saturday. They play Penn State.

"I might set up an official visit to Minnesota."
Are there any other schools Palmer is interested in?
"I'm looking at Minnesota, Wisconsin, West Virginia, Illinois, and Kentucky," he said. "It's down to those five schools. All of them except Wisconsin offered me."
Does Palmer have a favorite?
"Not really," he said. "I like Illinois, Minnesota, and Wisconsin. But Kentucky and West Virginia are good too.
"I'm not sure if I'll take all five official visits. We'll see how this weekend goes. If it goes really good I might commit to Illinois."
The 6-foot-6 and 274-pound Palmer is playing offensive guard and a little bit on the defensive line during his senior season. He is the No. 37 prospect in the state of Ohio in the Rivals.com player rankings.
