Ihenacho opens up about recruiting

Glen Ihenacho did not have much to say about his recruitment this summer but the Gardena (Calif.) Serra three-star defensive back opened up as fall camp started.
The 5-foot-11, 180-pound prospect has a top seven list and is also looking at scheduling some official visits in the coming weeks.

Ihenacho said Arizona State, Colorado, Washington, Cal, Miami, Hawaii and UCLA make up his list of frontrunners. He's looking at official visits to Miami, Hawaii, Washington and Arizona State.
"My last one is still open," Ihenacho said. "I'm still considering all of them."
The Gardena Serra standout has four of his five official trips planned but has not discussed dates with those coaches yet. That's the plan moving forward for Ihenacho, who said he'll probably take his visits with teammates if possible.
"I haven't discussed anything for dates yet," Ihenacho said.
"I'll be sure to figure that out with the coaches. The trips I can share with a teammate I'll probably go up with a teammate."
As for when Ihenacho wants to get out and see schools, it sounds like he'd rather do it earlier in the season when the weather is still agreeable.
"Whenever the weather is right," Ihenacho said. "I'm going to keep it open."
In total, Ihenacho lists offers from Arizona, Arizona State, Cal, Colorado, Colorado State, Fresno State, Hawaii, Houston, Illinois, Miami, Oregon State, San Jose State, UCLA, Utah, Washington and Washington State.
