Hutsona impressed by WSU

El Cajon (Calif.) Grossmont C.C. three-star juco running back Derrell Hutsona took a look at one of his two finalists this past weekend when he took an official visit to Washington State. The visit went off without a hitch, and the 5-foot-10, 185-pounder liked what he saw from the Cougars.
"There wasn't a thing I didn't like," Hutsona, the nation's No. 46 junior college player, said.

"I liked everything on the visit. I was hosted by Ian Bell, a cornerback. He showed me around town and talked to me about what it's like to be a player there.
"I also got to see snow for the first time in my life. Being from Southern California, we've never seen that around here. I got to go out in play in a little bit. It was a lot of fun."
Hutsona met with the coaches and said they treated him cool. He now knows a lot more about WSU and has positive thoughts as he heads into next weekend's visit to Kansas State, which is likely his final trip.
"I'm going to K-State on Friday," Hutsona said. "I honestly don't know too much about them. I'm going to give them a good look and see how they compare to Washington State. It's going to be either one of those two schools."
