Hutch DE has solid options

Hutchinson (Kan.) Hutchinson C.C. defensive end Tyran Melvin is one of the top defenders in the junior college ranks and from looking at the schools recruiting him, there's no question he's a wanted man.
"My top three are Arizona, Michigan State and Ohio," Melvin, who is 6-foot-2 and 240 pounds, said.

"I have just started talking to Louisiana Tech. We talked a little this week. Louisiana Tec told me I've got to get my bench press up a little bit, so I'm going to keep working hard and get it up."
"I haven't really talked to any of the top three schools in about a month. But they told me they would be down to see me this week some time. I will also be trying to schedule a trip to Arizona sometime."
Melvin is originally from South Carolina and could be out in December and has three years to play two seasons. He already has a good feeling for what he's looking for in the perfect school.
"I'm just trying to look for a good academic school," he said. "Most of the schools I have talked to are recruiting me to step in and play from day one. So that is going to affect my decision. I want to play."
On the season, Melvin has five tackles, including a tackle for a loss, in two games. Arizona and Ohio have offered him a scholarship at this point.
