Huskies move in on OL

San Diego is one of the most under appreciated areas of talent in all of California so some times players can come out of left field and become heavily recruited players almost out of nowhere. One player that kind of fits that bill is San Diego Mission Bay two-star offensive tackle Brian Agnis.
Agnis, who is 6-foot-4 and 315 pounds, is suddenly becoming a hot-target for the college coaches.

"I'm taking a trip out to Washington on January 20 and then Kansas is tripping me on January 27," Agnis said.
"I'm still hearing from Idaho State and UC-Davis, too. Washington is the team talking about offering me. They haven't offered yet, but they have talked a lot about it. Coach Kent Baer has told me they wouldn't have me in for a visit if they weren't going to offer me, so I expect to get one soon."
"I haven't really talked to Kansas directly. They contacted my coach and told him they wanted to trip me, but I haven't talked to anyone directly yet."
Agnis said he's probably leaning more toward the Pac 10 at this point.
"Washington is the leader because it's closer to San Diego, and they've just showed a lot of interest in me," he said. "If they offer while I'm on my visit I'll probably commit.
"Coach Baer is a real funny guy and he's a real nice guy. He's been recruiting me, even though he won't be my position coach. I like him a lot so I'm looking forward to the visit."
