"Greg wants to study pre-med and Washington has an excellent medical school," Dixon said. "Greg also liked the area when he went up there and feels like he can fit in.
Washington recruited Walker to play outside linebacker or strong safety.
The Huskies get a very active player who is always around the ball making plays. He currently leads the team in tackles with 44.
"Greg is extremely smart on and off the field," Dixon said. "He carries a 4.45 GPA. He understands the game and is like a coach on the field, which is huge for us.
"Greg flies to the football and that's what so special about him.
Walker earned first-team all-league as a junior after racking up 49 tackles and one sack from his linebacker position. He also added 311 yards on the ground as a fullback and added three touchdowns while averaging 5.1
