Huskies going hard after Jones

New Britain is home to one of Connecticut's top prospects from the Class of 2010 in Tebucky Jones, a well-rounded wide receiver with plenty of upside.
Not surprisingly the Huskies are all over the 6-foot-1, 178-pound threat.

UConn made some noise in the Class of 2009 by signing four-star wide receiver Dwayne Difton out of the state of Florida -- perhaps the biggest recruit in the history of the program.
Jones would be another excellent addition at the position. What does the recruiting process look like for him these days?
"Well, recently I've had more interest from Syracuse and Maryland," Jones explained. "Basically I've taken a visit to UConn and I've talked to the BC recruiter, coach Siravo. I'm getting more interested in BC. They're higher on my list since they've been showing me more interest.
"(Siravo) talked to my head coach, and my head coach told me he's going to come visit the school in a couple of weeks. I guess they're supposed to be close to offering me. If they offer they would probably be in my top three."
Who else is at the top of his list?
"UConn and Penn State," he replied. "I like UConn a lot. They're changing things. They have a new offensive coordinator and I like what they're gonna be doing with the offense this upcoming year.
"I've talked to coach Cersosimo, the receivers coach. He's talked to me about how they would use me if I go there. I like the facilities up there, too. Really I like everything about them."
Jones went on to say he would like to camp at Maryland and BC over the summer.
On his trip to UConn earlier this year he watched a spring practice and talked to the head coach.
