Huskers step up for Brandenburgh
Overland Park (Kan.) St. Thomas Aquinas linebacker Lance Brandenburgh has received another scholarship offer.

"Nebraska has offered Lance a scholarship," Brandenburgh's father Chuck said. "We are really excited about he offer. We know it is a good offer, but Lance is still planning to take his time and look at all of the options available to him."
Brandenburgh's other offer is from Kansas.
"Kansas is the only scholarship offer I have right now," the 6-foot-1, 215-pound Brandenburgh said ealier. "I think Coach (Mark) Mangino has things going in the right direction there and things are going to get turned around there. But right now, K-State and Nebraska are one and two on my list."
Brandenburgh attended spring games at Kansas State and at Nebraska in April.
