Huskers offer Texas safety

After a solid 2005 recruiting class, the Nebraska Cornhuskers are getting a jump on this year's class.
Nebraska is first of many to offer Aldine (Texas) Eisenhower defensive back Mister Alexander, an all-district selection as a junior.

"I like Nebraska and wouldn't mind going there," he said. "I'm also getting a lot of mail from LSU and Houston. My favorite right now is Southern Cal."
Alexander (6-foot-3, 195-pounds) will be participating in the Greater Houston combine on the campus of the University of Houston.
"I'm looking forward to the offseason and I think our new coaching staff will be playing me both ways. At safety and at wide receiver."
