Huskers move on past Texas QB

Garland (Texas) South quarterback Jordan Reever has had his official visit plans altered, once again.
“Nebraska got a commitment from a couple other quarterbacks,” Reever’s mother said. “They called and said they wouldn’t be having him visit.”

Reever cancelled a visit to Syracuse in hopes of visiting Nebraska when new Husker coach Bill Callahan began to recruit to fill his first class.
“Nebraska is more logical for me,” the 6-foot-2, 190-pound Reever said after the initial interest from the Big 12 school. “They’ve told me they aren’t real comfortable with the throwing quarterbacks they have on campus.”
Reever still has a visit this coming weekend to LSU on the schedule.
“I talked to (LSU) Coach (Kirk) Doll earlier tonight and he said he will be my school on Thursday,” Reever told TigerBait.com. “He said he should know right then if they are going to offer or not. LSU has been a long time favorite and if they offer I probably won’t waste any time, I will commit.”
